Chapter Two:
The years went by and soon Jane was a teenager. Jane still loved to read. One day, Jane was walking down the street reading when she bumped into a girl called Hannah. Hannah liked to read as well. Jane said to Hannah,
"Who are you?"
"I'm Hannah," she replied. Hannah also had a book with her. Jane said to Hannah,
"Why have you got that book with you?" Hannah said,
"Because I love to read!" Then Jane said,
"Same with me!"
So Jane invited Hannah over to read. Hannah said,
"OK!" so Jane showed Hannah the way. As soon as they got home, they sat down on the couch and started to read; they both had the same book. But Jane and Hannah did not notice.
A minute later, Jane's mum and dad came back from work. Jane's mum said to Jane,
"What are you doing? You are not allowed to have friends over." Jane's mum showed Hannah out in anger. As soon as Hannah left, Jane's mum got really angry with Jane. Jane started to cry and ran upstairs in tears. Soon, Jane's mum and dad felt sorry for Jane. They decided that Jane would be allowed to have friends over. Jane did not cry again.
