Lucy stole the duckling. Andy said,

"Put the duckling back!"

So she decided that she would. When she put it back, the duckling was still alone. The other ducks were swimming happily in the creek but they were ignoring the Ugly Duckling. Andy felt sorry for the duckling so he put the duckling in the creek near the other ducks. All the ducks were happy. Lucy wanted to see the duckling one more time. When they looked, they saw that the ugly duckling was alone again. Lucy looked for a creek that had the same type of ducks. It got very hot and they were tired. Lucy found some lollies in her pocket that she had stolen from her mother's cupboard before the adventure had begun. So, while they were walking in the hot, hot sun, they ate the left over lollies. Andy didn't want to eat them but he had no choice. That moment, they found a water fall. There were heaps and heaps of ducks like the ugly duckling. They put the duck in with the others.
