Lucy started to crawl out from under the bed. Andy pulled her back.
"We're staying here!" he said. After what seemed like hours, a lady came into the room.
"What a pig sty!" she exclaimed.
"With extra dirty pigs!" whispered Lucy. She dusted behind the wardrobe, made the bed and then...
LOOKED UNDER THE BED!!
"Hello!" she said, "You look like you need a hot chocolate!" She walked out of the room. Lucy and Andy followed her. They ended up in the kitchen. There were two cups of steaming hot chocolate on the table. Lucy drank hers and Andy drank his.
"Come with me, we're going for a drive!" the lady said. She led them out to the car and they got in. She drove a long way. At last, they stopped in front of the zoo.
"Here we are!" she said. They walked here and there, looking at monkeys, gorillas, elephants, otters, rhinos, hippos, beavers and snakes. They ended up by looking at the lions.
"Look at that beautiful lioness!" said the lady. Lucy and Andy looked where she was pointing. The lioness was prowling around a tree, growling at its leaves. Then Andy felt hands on his bottom. They picked him up and threw him over the barbed wire fence that separated the lions from the humans. He landed with a soft bump. Lucy sailed through the air and landed next to him. The lady walked of with a sneaky grin on her face. It was very lucky that, a few minutes later, a strong man from the circus saw them. He jumped into the cage, picked the children up with one arm, pulled himself up with the other and saved them. They ended up in hospital with some severe scratches and a few thousand tooth marks.
