"What kittens?" asked Andy.

"Probably horrid ones," muttered Lucy.

"Don't be so rude, Lucy!" said Andy.

"My kittens!" said the cat, whose name was Carbonel. "Do you want to meet them?"

"No!" said Lucy.

"Yes please!" said Andy.
