The children found themselves in place with a wolf heading for them. They ran for their lives.
The wolf said,
"Stop! Stop! I'm not going to eat you!"
But Lucy and Andy didn't hear. The wolf changed to full speed but he still couldn't catch up to them. Then...
Whack!
"Ouch," said the wolf.
"Oh, oh!" said a voice.
"Why you little brat!" said the wolf. The first little pig kicked the wolf in the tail and then scampered off. The wolf knew he wasn't faster than the pigs so he didn't run after the pig.
