The children ran away from the burning ship.

"Help!" called Peter Pan but they kept running. The ship started to break up and Peter Pan fell into the water. The fire had burned the ropes which were holding him and he was free!

But not for long! Captain Hook had been watching and was ready to grab Peter as he was swimming away from the sinking ship. Captain Hook took Peter to his ship. Andy and Lucy were watching what was happening from the shore. They were very scared. Andy said,

"We have to save Peter Pan!"

"Are you crazy?" asked Lucy.

"At least we have to try," said Andy.

So they both swam to Captain Hook's ship. Captain Hook was down in the bottom of the ship.

"Peter! Where are you?" called Lucy softly.

"Over here!" called Peter, "Captain Hook tied me up!"

Andy found a knife and cut the rope. Peter was free. They jumped off the ship and swam towards the shore. When they got to the shore, Lucy and Andy found that they were on the banks of the creek near their house.
