ANTS

Wood ants shoot poison at their enemies.

Army ants carry their young in their mouths.

Honeypot ants spend all their lives hanging from the top of their colony.

Ants are a small creature. They have three body parts: a head, a thorax and an abdomen. They can hang upside down.

The Life Cycle of an Ant:

The queen ant lays eggs. The eggs hatch into larvae. The larvae spin cocoons and then an adult ant emerges.
