Oliver has settled in to his new abode very well. In most ways, he is very well-behaved. He is very clean, has learnt not to bite or scratch (we went through a couple of months of constant scars from being attacked!) and is now a very loving pet. The next door neighbours have a cat of similar age and the two of them get on really well. They play chasing games for hours at a time.

The garden of No.35 had not been a feature of the property and so one weekend in April we set to and cleared out the jungle from the front garden beds. It was an all-day job for several people! The garden looks really lovely now: there are roses, pansies and lavender. Hopefully, the lemon tree will provide fruit in years to come.
