Just about the only thing I felt sad about while living with Jenny and Darryl was not being able to have a cat. One of the first things I did in March was to look for a suitable kitten. As it was towards the end of the kitten season, it was a little difficult to find the one that I wanted. I tried the RSPCA, various pet shops and some vets. Finally, I looked in the Trading Post. There was an ad offering kittens around the corner in Parkhill Drive! There I found a litter of kittens, all of which were lovely but one stood out. He is a tabby cat with beautifully clear symmetrical markings. I knew he was the one! There followed a long period of deciding upon a name. I hunted cat "name" sites on the Internet and copied hundreds of names onto my computer. Then I erased names a few at a time until there was only one left: "Oliver"!
